CFS Attend the First Scottish Conservative National Convention

On Saturday, the Party held its first ever National Convention in Dundee with a number of Conservative Future Scotland activists attending to hear about the changes which are being made to the Party in terms of structure, image and candidate selection.

Reports were given by the Conference Convenor, the Party Chairman, as well as Jackson Carlaw MSP who has been tasked with leading the reforms to the way the Party operates.

Among the major announcements made were the unveiling of the new Party logo (pictured), changes to local Party structure and a new system for selecting candidates for Scottish Parliamentary and European elections.

Policy discussions were held in the afternoon on the economy, welfare, energy and education which CFS members played an active part in.

The Party also launched its new website - which includes a new Members' Area which will be available soon.
